Tina's Journey
Tina's story is often told by others as a "Success Story". She has been described as “inspirational” and often as a "warrior". She has certainly overcome much and created great success. More important than success, she has created flow. In this place of flow is where she truly inspires and holds space for others.
Some have a starting point where they are born into an environment of stability. Some have role models for success or spiritual growth. During Tina's younger years, this was not the case. Her journey began being born into the environment of an embattled marriage. At the age of 12 she was left with a family who agreed to take her in with the unkept promise of it being a temporary situation. She would have to move from place to place a number of times before finding a stable home with family again.
Through all of this, she would need to find her own way and create her own stability. This was how she developed her incredible warrior energy. Despite the amount of effort needed to take care of herself, she always noticed and reached out to others who were struggling on their journey. This would develop in her a deep sense of empathy for others. Tina has continued making her way, charting her course and has become so much more than someone who has broken records and received awards in her industry. Through her practices of Yoga, meditation, and as a 2nd degree Reiki Practitioner, she lives as an inspirational example and continues seeking knowledge and higher levels of awareness.
Tina's Career Path
Tina’s career path goes back to her days in banking in the early 90’s. In the mid 90’s Tina and Chris would purchase their first home. During the process of securing their home loan, Tina made an impression on the manager of the mortgage company. This manager said that she could see Tina being very successful if she made the switch from banking to mortgage. Tina accepted a position with that mortgage company.
Over the next several years, Tina would work her way through various positions on the operations side of the industry. Not long after moving to New Mexico, the economy slid into the recession of 2007. The mortgage industry suffered a significant downturn and Tina was notified that her current position was being eliminated. Despite the economic slowdown and the risks involved, she made the choice to move to a commission-based position as a loan originator.
In her first year, she would increase her income from her prior salaried position. She would almost double that the following year. She was noticed by the president of a local mortgage company and was offered the opportunity to open her own branch. She accepted and would go on to win awards with this company.
After a few successful years of running her own branch, she was again sought out and recruited by another mortgage company. She accepted an Area Sales Manager position and continued to increase her productivity. She went on to be inducted into the President’s Club and the Chairman’s Circle. She now oversees branches in New Mexico and Texas.
